¿Who is Debora Bazan?

Debora is Mary's little sister, and she is making rugs of 80cms of width and 1.5m long  (around 262.5 x 492 ft).

While she was growing up, she kept watching her family create rugs, so she started to take part in the handcraft labor; when she was 11 years old she made her first rug with the design called: Grecas de Mitla.

Her learning method was the same as Mary Bazan, in which the base of a chair and just the fingers are used to intertwine the warp, together with the wool threats and a comb to press it.

This method is used to get familiar with the technique and to learn how to count the threads (the warp), since this is the principle to create the designs.
